This project involved the structural design and construction of Midea India's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Supa, Maharashtra, spanning a massive 1.4 million sq. ft. across three buildings. The project features over 2 lakh sq. ft. of mezzanine area in Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) and incorporates 11,000 MT of structural steel, including robust utility supports. With a remarkable 180-meter building width and standing seam roofing, the facility ensures enhanced ventilation through strategically designed roof monitors. The air-conditioned structure includes AHU platforms of approximately 65,000 sq. ft., while achieving an inside clear span of up to 40 meters. Despite accommodating heavy utility loads, innovative engineering solutions saved 1,500 MT of steel compared to final estimations, demonstrating our commitment to optimizing efficiency and enhancing sustainability. This landmark project signifies DCS’s commitment in bringing innovation in design and execution and setting a new benchmark in industrial infrastructure.
