This project involves, designing Datwyler Pharma's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Satara. Spanning an impressive 340,000 sq. ft., this G+1 structure features innovative mezzanine levels, some extending even up to 24m of unsupported spans, designed with strength decking sheets, slabs, and chequered plates. The facility integrates a robust mix of RCC and steel, utilizing approximately 5,500 MT of steel, and incorporates walkable false ceilings for enhanced accessibility. With heavy loading requirements of up to 2MT/m² on the first floor and varying regional loads due to extensive equipment and services, the design achieves unparalleled efficiency and durability. Suspended mezzanine sections, precision insulation, and liner panels ensure temperature control, while strategically employed trusses eliminate the need for large beams. This remarkable project exemplifies advanced structural design and engineering by DCS’ tailored to the complex demands of a high-performance pharmaceutical environment.
