About the Founder

Mr. Amit Shah is a distinguished personality in the field of structural engineering. Renowned for his unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation, Mr Shah has made significant contributions to the industry as a whole, including serving as the Chairman of the Indian Steel Construction Association (ISCA) from May 2023 to October 2024.

Earning his MTech in Structural Engineering from the prestigious IIT Mumbai, Mr Shah laid the foundation of his domain expertise. Prior to this, he earned his B.E in Civil Engineering from the esteemed Faculty of Technology and Engineering at M. S. University, Baroda, where he secured three gold medals for being the overall topper, the best performer in structural engineering and for project management subjects.

Starting his professional journey at Voltas Limited, Mr Shah moved to ACC Ltd, where he spent 11 years mastering the intricacies of structural designs on several prestigious projects, accumulating a wealth of experience that would later serve as the cornerstone for his own consulting venture—Designers’ Consultancy Services (DCS).

Known for his exceptional leadership and management skills, Mr. Shah exemplifies a philosophy of simplicity and precision. His guiding mantra, "Keep it simple and accurate," reflects his commitment to delivering structural designs that are cost-optimal, precise and time-bound. Under his leadership, DCS continues to push boundaries, delivering landmark projects that stand as testaments to his vision and expertise.

Sayali brings over 15 years of experience after her BE in Civil Engineering. As the senior-most member of the DCS team, she plays a pivotal role in driving excellence across projects. Known for her meticulous approach and keen eye for detail, Sayali not only ensures precision in every design but also inspires and mentors her team with immense dedication.

Neha, an astute civil engineer with 15 years of experience is an integral member of the DCS team.
